Garret Matznick, Newman Central Catholic's leader in stolen bases on the season, led the team again on Wednesday. Mendota had no answer to Matznick as he scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Matznick is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played.
