The Hononegah Indians put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 44-0 win over Willowbrook at home. The result was nothing new for Hononegah, who have now won ten contests by 27 points or more so far this season.
Hononegah had a senior duo take command as Cole Warren threw for 124 yards and two touchdowns and Isaiah Houi picked up 97 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Hononegah's win was their seventh straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 11-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 47.0 points per game. As for Willowbrook, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3.
Hononegah will be playing at home against Batavia at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Batavia will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak. Willowbrook does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
