The Solorio Sun Warriors have not had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They came out on top against ACERO Garcia by a score of 23-10 on Wednesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Solorio also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2019.
Solorio was led to victory by Danielle Ridgner and Melanie Macedo. Ridgner scored eight points, while Macedo scored nine points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Ridgner has scored at least a third of Solorio's points.
Solorio's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for ACERO Garcia, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.
Solorio will head out on the road to face off against Chicago Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Chicago Academy will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. ACERO Garcia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
