Georgetown-Ridge Farm has been on the road for four straight, but on Wednesday they'll finally head home. Having just played yesterday, they will get right back to it and host the Chrisman Cardinals at 5:30 p.m. on January 24th. Georgetown-Ridge Farm will be strutting in after a win while Chrisman will be coming in after a loss.
Georgetown-Ridge Farm can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They blew past Villa Grove 45-24. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Georgetown-Ridge Farm has posted since December 11, 2023.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Chrisman's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 31-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of Milford. Chrisman has not had much luck with Milford recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Despite the loss, Chrisman saw an underclassman step up: Taylor Jones scored nine points along with seven rebounds and four blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaidyn Alexander, who scored six points along with three steals.
The win got Georgetown-Ridge Farm back to even at 10-10. As for Chrisman, their loss dropped their record down to 7-13.
Georgetown-Ridge Farm took their victory against Chrisman in their previous meeting back in November of 2023 by a conclusive 38-18. Will Georgetown-Ridge Farm repeat their success, or does Chrisman have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
