It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Prestonwood Christian had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against the Antonian Prep Apaches by a score of 54-43. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their 13th in a row.
Despite the defeat, Antonian Prep saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kyzarriah Fox posted 17 points in addition to three steals and three blocks. That's the most blocks Fox has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Copeland, who had five points and five rebounds.
Prestonwood Christian's victory bumped their record up to 30-6. As for Antonian Prep, the loss snapped their winning streak at 11 games and leaves them with a 34-7 record.
