Last Tuesday, Waynesville was able to grind out a solid victory over Brookville, taking the game 60-52. That's two games straight that Waynesville has won by exactly eight points.
Meanwhile, Oakwood came up short against Carlisle on Friday and fell 62-55.
The victory got Waynesville back to even at 2-2. As for Oakwood, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-1.
Waynesville ended up a good deal behind Oakwood when the teams last played back in February, losing 51-32. Can Waynesville avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
