Issaquah had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They took their game against Kent-Meridian on Thursday 19-7. This was the first game for both teams, giving Issaquah a 1-0 record and starting Kent-Meridian off at 0-1.
Issaquah will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Mercer Island at 7:00 PM. Kent-Meridian will look to defend their home turf next week against Stadium at 6:00 PM.
