Mission Viejo (Calif.) extended its winning streak to six games with a 47-21 victory over
Redlands East Valley (Redlands, Calif.) on Saturday.
After taking the lead on an
Alex Suchesk touchdown run in the first quarter, the Diablos led 20-14 at the half.
Mission Viejo grew its lead to 25 points entering the fourth quarter. MV scored three times in the third, including once on a touchdown pass by
Ian Fieber to
Daniel Marx.
Suchesk stood out for the Diablos in the win. The senior running back ran for two touchdowns.
When the two teams played each other last season, Mission Viejo came away with a 52-21 victory.
The loss was the fourth in a row for the Wildcats.
