Basketball Recap: Souhegan's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Souhegan came into Friday's matchup having lost 14 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Coe-Brown Academy Bears by a score of 50-41 on Friday. The Sabers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Souhegan's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Coe-Brown Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Souhegan will square off against Hanover at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Souhegan is facing Hanover at the right time seeing as Hanover is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Coe-Brown Academy, they will host ConVal at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Coe-Brown Academy will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: ConVal will have lost three straight heading into Tuesday's game.
