Serra Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight  loss. They lost  48-27 to the Leechburg Blue Devils. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the  33-15 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in October of 2015.

The dominant performance gave him a new career- in  rushing yards. Another player making a difference was  Jake Cummings, who rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
 Serra Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Leechburg, the  victory was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
 Serra Catholic will face off against Monessen at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Monessen has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 177 points over their last three matchups. As for Leechburg, they will welcome Riverview  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
