The Grundy Golden Wave will be home for the holidays to greet the Graham G-Men at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Grundy's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Graham has been banged up by 11 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
Grundy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 21 points or more this season. They blew past Richlands 59-38.
Meanwhile, Graham was the victim of a tough 50-29 loss at the hands of Princeton on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Graham has scored all season.
Grundy's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Graham, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
Everything came up roses for Grundy against Graham in their previous matchup back in January of 2020 as the squad secured a 74-39 victory. Does Grundy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Graham turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
