North Stanly waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Southeast Guilford Falcons a 6-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Comets, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.

North Stanly's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Southeast Guilford, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 14-6 record.

North Stanly wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 10-6 victory against Community School of Davidson on the 16th. As for Southeast Guilford, they will take on Southern Guilford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
