Bryce Stacey continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 6 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 18 points and 5 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Silas Nielsen was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on ten rebounds and nine blocks.
Sacopee Valley's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-8. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points per game. As for Pine Tree Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.
Sacopee Valley will head out on the road to square off against Waynflete at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Sacopee Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Saturday. As for Pine Tree Academy, they will be playing at home against Traip at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Maine (Traip is ranked 111th, while Pine Tree Academy is ranked 129th).
