When it comes to explaining why Trinity lost, one person who can't be blamed is Nathan Skendzel. Despite the final result, he scored 16 points along with five assists. Skendzel scored a full 37.2% of Trinity's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Heintzelman, who scored seven points.
Leading Argos to victory were Luke Stults and Sean Richard. Stults scored 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals, while Richard scored 25 points along with seven rebounds. The match was Richard's seventh in a row with at least ten points.
Trinity has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season. As for Argos, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
