The Fieldston Eagles stacked a 14th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 64-24 victory over Trinity. Winning may never get old, but Fieldston sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fieldston to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sarah Weinick, who scored 21 points. Weinick is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jade ling Eng-stewart, who scored 16 points.
Fieldston is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-2 record this season. As for Trinity, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fieldston will stay at home for another game and welcome Staten Island Academy at 4:30 p.m. on January 31st. Trinity will take on Poly Prep Country Day at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Poly Prep Country Day is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
