The Riverdale Warriors were the 66-41 winner over the Franklin Admirals when they last played one another back in December of 2014, but their luck changed this time around. Riverdale ended up on the wrong side of a rough 77-52 walloping at the hands of Franklin on Tuesday. Riverdale has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Riverdale had strong showings from Madison Taylor, who scored 19 points, and Norah Haney, who scored 13 points. The contest was Taylor's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Abby Dennis, who scored 6 points.
Riverdale's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Franklin, their win bumped their record up to an identical 1-3.
Riverdale will be playing at home against Mount Juliet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklin will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Cane Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on December 8th.
