Arroyo has gone a perfect 5-0 against San Lorenzo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Dons will look to defend their home field against the Grizzlies at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Arroyo has four straight wins, San Lorenzo has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
If Arroyo beats San Lorenzo with ten runs on Wednesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. The Dons won by a run and slipped past American 10-9.

Arroyo got a great performance from Jacob Soares as he pitched five innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. Soares has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Justin Nelson and Marco Carbajal did most of the damage at the plate: Nelson went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple, while Carbajal went 3-for-4 with two triples, two RBI, and one run. Arroyo is 5-1 when Nelson posts two or more runs, but 7-8 otherwise. Jered Montenegro was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Arroyo kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Hayward hit San Lorenzo with a nine-run fifth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Grizzlies lost 13-3 to the Farmers.
San Lorenzo saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kane Lawless, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple and one run.
Arroyo pushed their record up to 12-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for San Lorenzo, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-7.
Everything went Arroyo's way against San Lorenzo in their previous meeting back in March of 2019, as Arroyo made off with a 17-2 victory. Do the Dons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Grizzlies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
