After a string of three wins, the Braymer Bobcats's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell 68-61 to Richmond. The match was a 30-30 toss-up at halftime, but Braymer was outscored by Richmond in the second.
Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jordan Haley, who scored 21 points along with three steals. Dakota Brandon was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Braymer's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Richmond, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Braymer will be playing at home against Keytesville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keytesville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Richmond's road trip will continue as they head out to face Lafayette County at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th. One thing working in Lafayette County's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six games.
