On Thursday, Grace Academy was the victim of a tough 60-39 loss at the hands of Covenant Classical. Grace Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Grace Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Julianna Simonelli, who scored 16 points along with three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Kalista Pressley, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Grace Academy has not been sharp recently as the team has lost nine of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Covenant Classical, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5.
Grace Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Covenant Classical also has no future games currently scheduled.
