Softball Recap: Clear Lake Has No Trouble Against Dickinson

Clear Lake barely beat Dickinson the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Clear Lake Falcons blew past the Dickinson Gators 13-3 on Tuesday. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by nine runs or more this season.

Clear Lake pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Dickinson, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clear Lake will challenge Deer Park at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Deer Park will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Clear Lake surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dickinson, they will square off against Brazoswood at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
