Volleyball Recap: Eagle's Landing Christian Academy Victorious

Eagle's Landing Christian Academy won the last time they faced Hampton and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Chargers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Hornets. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Chargers.

Eagle's Landing Christian Academy easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-17.

Merrin Tyson paced Eagle's Landing Christian Academy's offense, picking up five kills. Tyson got some help from Golden Brown and her eight assists. Ansley Kellog and Olivia Dotson kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Eagle's Landing Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 21-10-1. As for Hampton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eagle's Landing Christian Academy will venture away from home to take on Strong Rock Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hampton, they will head out to challenge Union Grove at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
