Olympic had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Everything went their way against the Bainbridge Spartans as they made off with a 15-2 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.
Brenda Morrison made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Morrison was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI. Those RBI marked the first that she brought in this season.
In other batting news, Olympic got a massive performance out of Jules Richmond, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Richmond also put up an RBI, which was her first of the season. Beya Richmond was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
Olympic hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most three strikeouts in five consecutive matchups.
Olympic's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1.
