The Sale Creek Panthers entered their tilt with the Lookout Valley Yellowjackets with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Sale Creek blew past Lookout Valley 60-7 on the road. With that win, Sale Creek brought their scoring average up to 50.2 points per game.
Sale Creek got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Maggie Garner out in front who scored eight points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Chelsea Levi, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Sale Creek pushed their record up to 16-4 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.7 points per game. As for Lookout Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.
Sale Creek will head out on the road to take on Copper Basin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Copper Basin is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Lookout Valley, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on South Pittsburg at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th. South Pittsburg and Lookout Valley are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
