Byron had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They pulled ahead with a 63-62 photo finish over the Genoa-Kingston Cogs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Byron's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Genoa-Kingston, they moved to 5-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Byron and Winnebago will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
