Chase Crawford posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out five batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Crawford and Westerville South will venture away from home to challenge Hayes at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats had to take a loss when they last met the Pacers, but Crawford had little to do with the loss: he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
