The Eastwood Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Oak Harbor Rockets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Eastwood comes in on five and Oak Harbor on four.
Eastwood has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 22 points or more this season. Everything went their way against Otsego on Saturday as Eastwood made off with a 55-33 win. Given Eastwood's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 203rd, while Otsego is ranked 768th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Oak Harbor beat Maumee 31-20 on Tuesday. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Oak Harbor has scored all season.
Eastwood's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Oak Harbor, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
Eastwood was able to grind out a solid win over Oak Harbor in their previous meeting back in January, winning 39-32. Will Eastwood repeat their success, or does Oak Harbor have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
