Baseball Recap: Bogan Has No Trouble Against Dunbar

Bogan was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Dunbar on Friday. The Bengals were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Mightymen. The result was nothing new for the Bengals, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

Jeremiah Thomas and Immanuel Patterson did most of the damage at the plate: Thomas went a perfect 2-for-2 with four stolen bases and two runs, while Patterson went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Those four stolen bases gave Thomas a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Ortiz Gutierrez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.

Bogan now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Dunbar, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9.

Bogan wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 9-3 win against Kelly on the 3rd. As for Dunbar, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-9 loss against South Shore International on the 6th.
