Basketball Game Preview: Arlington Christian vs. W D Mohammed Caliphs

Arlington Christian has gone 3-0 against W D Mohammed recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. Arlington Christian will look to defend their home court against the W D Mohammed Caliphs at 7:30 p.m. Arlington Christian is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Last Monday, in a tight matchup that could have gone either way, Arlington Christian made off with a 63-62 win over Creekside Christian Academy.

Arlington Christian relied on the efforts of Chezi Essel, who went 8 for 12 on his way to 20 points in addition to seven rebounds and six assists, and Khalib Brooks, who posted 16 points and five steals. The contest was Brooks' fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Haslem, who put up seven points.

Meanwhile, W D Mohammed won against Academe of the Oaks back in November with 50 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. W D Mohammed blew past Academe of the Oaks 50-15. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Caliphs.

Arlington Christian pushed their record up to 9-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for W D Mohammed, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Arlington Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their game against W D Mohammed in their previous matchup back in November, but they still walked away with a 52-46 victory.
