Baseball Recap: Armstrong Starts Season with Loss at Home

Armstrong unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 12-5 to the Beaver Bobcats on Wednesday.

Brayden Wright made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.

The victory made it two in a row for Beaver and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Coming up, Armstrong will be playing at home against Fox Chapel at 3:45 p.m. on March 27th. As for Beaver, they will challenge Hopewell at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The game will give Hopewell their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
