The Oliver Springs Bobcats will face off against the Harriman Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harriman took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Oliver Springs, who comes in off a win.
Oliver Springs' pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against Oakdale as they made off with a 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Cooper Jones made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Cole Tedder and Karson Seeber did most of the damage at the plate: Tedder went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases and three RBI, while Seeber went 2-for-4 with four runs and one triple. Those three hits gave Tedder a new career-high. Eli Brummett was another key player, going 2-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Oliver Springs kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oakdale only managed two hits.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 20 runs the game before, Harriman was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They lost 10-1 to Meigs County.
Harriman saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Oliver, who went 1-for-2 with one run.
The victory made it two in a row for Oliver Springs and bumps their season record up to 14-10-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Harriman, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.
Oliver Springs beat Harriman 8-5 in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Do the Bobcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blue Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
