The Martinsville Bulldogs won the last time they faced the Morehead Panthers, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Martinsville came out on top against Morehead by a score of 37-29.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Martinsville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Yoshi Moyer, who scored three points along with 11 rebounds and five steals. Moyer set a new season high mark in blocks with two. Another player making a difference was McKenzie Hylton, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds.
Martinsville now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Morehead, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Martinsville will head out on the road to face off against McMichael at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Morehead won't have much time to rest: their next match is against College Prep & Leadership Academy at 5:00 p.m. on December 21st. College Prep & Leadership Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
