Manchester has gone a perfect 10-0 against Wabash recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Squires will face off against the Apaches at 5:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
Manchester had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 22-run drubbing they dealt Triton on Thursday. The Squires never let the Trojans get on the board and left with a 22-0 victory. The game marked the Squires' most dominant win of the season.

Hadley West was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and four RBI. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Alexis Jarrett also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
Manchester hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in seven consecutive matchups.
The home team had won the previous four meetings between Wabash and Southern Wells, and Wabash kept the tradition alive. The Apaches were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Raiders on Saturday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Apaches considering their one-run performance the contest before.
The team relied heavily on Andi Conliff, who fired off two home runs, four runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-4. Jadyn Gibson was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Manchester pushed their record up to 7-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. As for Wabash, their record is now 4-6.
Wabash's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Manchester hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .371. It's a different story for Wabash, though, as they've only averaged .223. Will they be able to contain Manchester's hitters?
Everything went Manchester's way against Wabash in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Manchester made off with an 11-0 victory. Will the Squires repeat their success, or do the Apaches have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
