The Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Lakers lost against the Michigan Lutheran Titans back in March of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Our Lady of the Lake Catholic took a 57-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Michigan Lutheran. It was the first time this season that Our Lady of the Lake Catholic let down their fans at home.
Michigan Lutheran's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zac Lockman, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Howe, who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds and five blocks.
Our Lady of the Lake Catholic's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-3. As for Michigan Lutheran, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.
Our Lady of the Lake Catholic will head out on the road to square off against River Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. River Valley is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Michigan Lutheran won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Potterville at 8:00 p.m. on January 20th.
