Archbishop McCarthy has gone a perfect 3-0 against Pine Crest recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. Archbishop McCarthy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.
Archbishop McCarthy gave up the first runs last Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top against Nova by a score of 14-9. The Mavericks' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Nick Llinas looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits. Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

At the plate, Archbishop McCarthy got a massive performance out of Alejandro Cabral, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one triple. The dominant performance gave Cabral a new career-high in hits. Another player making a difference was Chris Cassino, who scored three runs while going 3-for-4.
Archbishop McCarthy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in four consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, it may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Pine Crest ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past West Boca Raton 5-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.
Brady Bushnell looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off five hits. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Cooper Obst, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Billig, who went 2-for-3 with one double.
Pine Crest's win bumped their record up to 5-1-2. As for Archbishop McCarthy, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-6.
