Capac owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Genesee Christian Soldiers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Chiefs also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Capac is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-5-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Genesee Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Capac will venture away from home to face off against More Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Genesee Christian, they will head out to challenge Our Lady of the Lakes at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
