 The team  relied heavily on  Cory Herman, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double. That  double was  his first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Kellen Sanchez, who  went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases and two  runs.
 Meanwhile, Evergreen made easy work of Swanton  on Thursday and carried off  a  7-1 victory.
 The  win  got Evergreen back to even at 2-2. As for Edgerton, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.
