Trevor Trimble produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Pender to the win on Friday. Trimble rushed for 111 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 65 yards.
On the year, Trimble has run in 6 touchdowns while averaging 52.6 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 2.43 rushing yards per game.

Roth and Pender will face off against Wisner-Pilger at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pendragons got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Gators, probably because Roth had a solid game then too: he threw for 169 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 passes, and also rushed for 30 yards. Rounding off our Top Five is Bryan Isom of Tri County Northeast. Isom rushed for 71 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries. He is becoming a predictor of Tri County Northeast's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 0-4 when he doesn't).
