Meanwhile, Montgomery's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They fell just short of South Williamsport by a score of 54-52.
Neumann Regional Academy's defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-3. As for Montgomery, they bumped their record down to 0-3 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road dating back to last season.
Everything came up roses for Neumann Regional Academy against Montgomery in their previous matchup back in February as the team secured a 79-40 victory. With Neumann Regional Academy ahead 44-19 at the half, the match was all but over already.
