After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Oak Ridge, the Knoxville Central Bobcats were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 67-35 victory over Campbell County. That 32 point margin sets a new team best for Knoxville Central this season.
Despite the defeat, Campbell County saw an underclassman step up: Will Croley scored eight points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Gavin Cox, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds.
Knoxville Central's win bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Campbell County, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-18.
Knoxville Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 50-46 victory vs. Halls on the 8th. Campbell County has also already played their next game, a 56-47 defeat against Karns on the 9th.
