On Saturday, Braymer had just enough and edged Grundy County/Newtown-Harris out 44-42.
Kinsley Allnutt and Adysan Rains certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Allnutt dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds, while Rains scored 16 points along with five steals. Allnutt set a new season high mark in blocks with six.
Braymer's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Grundy County/Newtown-Harris, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
Braymer will be home for the holidays to greet Breckenridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Grundy County/Newtown-Harris will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Bucklin-Macon County at 6:00 p.m. on December 19th.
