Mount St. Charles Academy was led to victory by Emma Roberts and Addie Stojanowski. Roberts scored 17 points along with eight rebounds, while Stojanowski scored 18 points along with six rebounds and three blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Stojanowski has scored all season. Addie Johnson was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds.
Mount St. Charles Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Coventry, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mount St. Charles Academy will take on Smithfield at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Rhode Island (Smithfield is ranked 25th, while Mount St. Charles Academy is ranked 14th). As for Coventry, they will head out on the road to square off against Shea at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
