The Pinecrest Academy Paladins's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Tuesday after their fifth straight  defeat. They fell to The King's Academy  60-54. Pinecrest Academy has struggled against the Knights recently, as their  game on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
 Despite the loss, Pinecrest Academy still got an impressive performance from   Joe Frain, who  dropped  a double-double on 17 points and 13  rebounds.  Johnny Lynch was another key contributor,  scoring 12 points along with two  steals.
 Pinecrest Academy has  not been sharp recently as the team's  lost nine of their last 11 contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for The King's Academy, their victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 12-8.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pinecrest Academy will take on the Saints at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. One thing working in Johnson Ferry Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted big  point totals  in their last six games. As for The King's Academy, they will look to defend their home court  on Thursday against the Warriors at 8:15  p.m. Cherokee Christian will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
