University School put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Nordonia Knights as University School made off with an 8-1 victory. The Preppers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.
University School got a great performance from Crew Bellan as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over six innings pitched.
On the hitting side, Deacon Nelson was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one triple, one stolen base, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Tucker Greer, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
University School always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Nordonia only posted an OBP of .259.
