Last Friday, Ben Bolt got themselves on the board against Kaufer, but Kaufer never followed suit. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 54-0 win over the Seahawks.
It was another big night for Devin Godines, who rushed for 188 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries. Godines is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Louis Sill, who rushed for 66 yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Refugio waltzed into Friday's game with eight straight wins but they left with nine. They put the hurt on Ganado with a sharp 30-7 victory. Refugio might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won six matchups by 23 points or more this season.
Ben Bolt's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 31.3 points per game. As for Refugio, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.
Ben Bolt was dealt a bruising 66-14 loss at the hands of Refugio in their previous meeting back in November of 2022. Can Ben Bolt avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
