The Lincoln Lynx put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Victor 65-18 on the road. Lincoln has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 29 points or more this season.
Lincoln's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dylan Jakushak led the charge by scoring 25 points along with four steals. Jakushak continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Teegan Riddle, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
Lincoln pushed their record up to 10-0 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Victor, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.
Lincoln will be playing at home against Valley Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Valley Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Montana Rankings (they are ranked 98th, while Lincoln is ranked 32nd). As for Victor, they will head out on the road to face off against Darby at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Darby is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.
