Basketball Game Preview: Twentynine Palms Wildcats vs. Coachella Valley Mighty Arabs

Twentynine Palms has gone 9-1 against Coachella Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Twentynine Palms Wildcats will head out to challenge the Coachella Valley Mighty Arabs at 5:30 p.m. Coachella Valley took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Twentynine Palms, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with eight defeats in a row, Twentynine Palms turned things around against Xavier Prep on Monday. They slipped by the Saints 56-55.

It was another big night for Ayden OGilvie, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 15 rebounds. He has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Adrian Crowell, who posted nine points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Coachella Valley came up short against Brawley on Monday and fell 63-52. The Mighty Arabs have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Twentynine Palms' win bumped their record up to 4-14. As for Coachella Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

Twentynine Palms couldn't quite finish off Coachella Valley in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 and fell 79-76. Can Twentynine Palms avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
