Bishop Hartley was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after beating Bishop Watterson 28-14. The Hawks came in at 25 in the state poll after placing at number 26 last week.
Bishop Ready extended the longest winning streak in Central Catholic - Gold this week by beating Linsly, 32-0. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
Bishop Hartley's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jared Brandewie threw for 61 and one touchdown and Alonzo Saxton had 71 yards receiving. On the ground Ja'wuan Woodley chipped in 134 yards. Jacob Matuska helped Bishop Hartley's passing attack out by catching two balls for 43 yards.
Bishop Hartley's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Hawks feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Brandewie has thrown for 575 yards and seven touchdowns this season, while Saxton has four catches for 229 yards. Woodley leads the league in rushing with 790 yards.
Bishop Ready took down the Cadets 32-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
