The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Juniata Christian in their matchups with Immanuel Baptist: they've now lost six in a row.
Despite the loss, Juniata Christian had strong showings from Jack Bryan, who scored 14 points, and Nathan Wright, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds. Bryan scored a full 48.3% of Juniata Christian's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Luke Flanders was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds.
Juniata Christian now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Immanuel Baptist, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-3.
Juniata Christian will take on Lapeer Lakers Homeschool at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Immanuel Baptist, they will be playing at home against Bethany Christian at 1:06 p.m. on Thursday.
