South Barber has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They and the Central Christian Cougars will face off on February 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Central Christian took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on South Barber, who comes in off a win.
South Barber only won by two when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 25-point they dealt Pretty Prairie on Tuesday. South Barber put the hurt on Pretty Prairie with a sharp 59-34 victory.
Meanwhile, Central Christian pushed their score all the way to 58 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 66-58 to Cunningham. Central Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
South Barber pushed their record up to 8-4-1 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Central Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.
South Barber beat Central Christian 43-34 in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for South Barber since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
