Everything went their way against the Brandon/Evansville Chargers on Friday as the West Central Area Knights made off with an 80-55 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Knights have posted since March 9th.
The win got West Central Area back to even at 2-2. As for Brandon/Evansville, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-1 record.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Central Area will take on Sauk Centre in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Sauk Centre's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Brandon/Evansville and Hillcrest Lutheran Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Brandon/Evansville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Hillcrest Lutheran Academy likes a good challenge.
